Co-owner. Technology and Strategy Coach for small business and non-profits.
Mike brings more than 20 years of Internet development and marketing experience to your Web site projects and digital marketing strategies. He also draws on his four years of professional audio and video production experience to enhance your multimedia project.
For six years Mike worked for TrueCredit (now called TransUnion Interactive), an Internet start-up company that survived the dot-com bust and became the leading online consumer credit Web site. As director of product development there, Mike and his department designed and tested new personal credit products. As a member of the leadership team, Mike’s contributions helped boost the site’s daily transaction rate almost 9,000 percent over five years. While with CareerTrack, the foremost seminar company at the time, Mike worked as an associate audio producer. He recorded and edited high-profile programs for Tom Peters, Roger Mellott, Julie White and other business speakers. These audio programs grossed more than $12 million for the company annually.
More recently, Mike served the award-winning environmental magazine, High Country News, as the Associate Publisher. In this role he managed the business operations of the organization including sales, marketing, IT, circulation, human resources and facilities. During his 5 years at HCN he initiated several infrastructural projects and helped the organization grow its circulation even while other magazines folded.
Mike graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a degree in political science.
